I woke up this morning to see the warm sunshine peeking through the curtains onto my face. Yawning I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I sighed while I pushed the blanket off me and headed to the kitchen. I went about my normal morning routine lazily. Once I had washed my face was dressed and feeling refreshed, I sat down on my old wooden chair with a mug full of hot steaming tea. I closed my eyes and prayed like I did everyday. "Dear heavenly father, I thank you for this beautiful spring day. Lord I thank you for all the caring friends you have placed around me who support and love me. Don't think I'm ungrateful lord but sometimes I feel so lonely and I dearly miss my husband and sweet baby boy David. Would you let them know that I love them and miss them and that I can't wait till we're reunited one day in heaven. In Jesus name Amen." As I opened my eyes my vison was all blurry from the tears in my eyes. I rubbed my face and drank my steaming tea slowly. Knock! Knock! Quickly I put my tea down and headed to the door. Its probably Anna my next door neighbor coming for a visit I thought to myself. But to my surprise as I opened the door there stood a boy of about 12 or 13 years. As I stared into his oddly old looking eyes I was barely even listening to what he was saying. It was then I realized who he was. "David.. my son David..!"
