Take your laptop, tablet, and sometimes your smartphone along with you on your camping trip with your children.

This is something I have learned by trial and error. My mom has been on my shoulder throughout the week, reminding me to prepare this and remember that. I was thrilled about my first camping trip with her grandkids as well as my mom and she was always telling me what to do. I don’t mind my mom's talk. But not listening to her talk causes me to feel uncomfortable. This was a huge error.

We headed out with our car and were going to drive it all up to the campsite. I was determined to recreate the authentic camping experience I had with my father in the days gone by, so I chose the most remote location, which was, it turned out, in an area that was not service-free. That means out smartphones weren't working and we were pretty much left to ourselves and there was no other camping party in sight. I don't blame you I was hoping to have a great trip off working.. We spent 3 days in the wild surroundings, in the midst of the natural world.. In less than just 24 hours, we were on our way to home.

What happened? There was no Internet or bars, we didn't have anything... I took a laptop along with a couple of online games, - didn't even get it out of my bag.. I made a nice backdrop for the trees in order to watch little projector I brought with me for nice big-screen effect movies - without Internet to access Hulu or Netflix. Netflix, no Disney+.. What is this.. My children were a total pain to watch. They were just trying to get on top of their schoolwork to check their emails and even send me messages. I couldn't take it any longer and we packed for the return journey. My children made sounds that resembled to tiny piglets sucking delicious food when they emerged from the internet-free zone. Since then, I've learned to be more prepared and to not get stuck in an internet-less area without any roaming. After a long boat ride toward our destination, I found myself in need of my new best buddies: two tablets and a laptop. They were equipped with Hulu streaming video on one side, Netflix movies, and shows on the opposite. The laptop had music videos as well in some movies I downloaded to watch later with Hulu as well as Netflix apps through the Windows app store. I have more than 600 hours of material to watch, including full episodes of South Park, Friends, Will & Grace and Friends seasons.

There are many videos that kids will like. I downloaded music videos from Youtube and converted them to formats like mp3 and mp4 for watching and listening. This web app allows me to download the videos directly onto my computer. I can then play videos offline at any time I need electricity. I DVR many shows, films and online seminar. I save these videos as mp4 onto my laptop. I then play them later with VLC as well as KMP or any other video player that can play 4K.

4k is also something that I insist on. Have you watched this? It's incredible! I would highly recommend. Televisions with 4k resolution have amazing software which process the video and improve the quality of it. Even though the old video might not be great, thanks to its squarish blocky recording however, the TV can make it look great and offers a modern smooth video stream. Highly recommended for all boys and girls.
