Why does Youtube keep pushing ads to my child while watching all those baby related videos such as Baby Shark and other similar channels?

This is the question that I've been asking since the past two years since I began giving my daughter the tablet, which includes all Youtube channels designed specifically for babies. The channels are created to help children learn and improve their cognitive functioning and to make them more socially and mentally stable. I can see that my daughter is enthralled by the content. She is always keeping her eyes open, and is laughing loudly and loves it. However, I do not understand all of the commercial breaks. My child is not an ad-buyer, so why do you insist on pushing sometimes not even baby-like ads on my baby, Youtube?

First of all, infants aren't able to comprehend commercials. It's a waste of money as well as a wasteful of resources. They're not even babies! If you're saying this, then why insist on showing these ads to little babies? The cat videos are identical. Recently, I noticed that my cat loves watching these captivating videos for cats. It's usually birds or mice however my cat likes to sit and watch the videos for long periods of time. Perhaps hunting. Those videos are constantly interrupted by ads. Who are they trying to convince? My cat is not a consumer of anything but those videos. To her, ads aren't relevant. Perhaps they believe I am watching these videos while my cat. They're partially right however, sincere to say I am guilty of watching the shammy cat videos with my cat more often than doing anything useful.

So, I recently discovered a great way to do this. It basically is downloading Youtube videos onto my laptop or computer and then streaming them from the device later on, like if I were offline and required a more robust copy of the video on my hard drive, rather than streaming them over and over on Youtube. Can you see the problem I'm talking about? This website lets me save the video to my computer, instead of having it available on Youtube each time my cat watches birdies. So now, I can just double-click on the mp4 video to save it to my desktop. It then runs in VLC immediately, with no ads , and then gets right into the fun of my cat.

This is the same for all baby videos and video channels. Just search for the videos my daughter likes to watch and download them to my computer, and then transfer them to my table. Sometimes, it's only 1 or 2 songs. If the videos are long, I copy them to her tablet. However it's much simpler to use this website directly from my computer. Maybe it's me, an old school...

This worked out to be an amazing mobile data saver. Until downloading videos from Youtube became a reality I had to keep my tablet connected to the internet via hotspot on my smartphone or occasionally I would even have an exclusive data plan for my tablet itself, when we went on vacation.. Data is extremely expensive when you're roaming it... So, my data usage went down by 3-4 times. Now we were able to roll over a little data to next months, which is an absolute surprise to us. Normally, we'd be charged for exceeding our monthly allowance 3-4 times.. That's why I would recommend to all parents of young children and loving owners of cats that you download your videos from Youtube and other sites to your device, then save them to MP4 format, and then play them later without additional data usage.
