When I feel bored, I enjoy listen to music from other nations. It helps me feel happier.

It's the truth. It's the truth. I'm adamant about it. Sometimes , when I'm feeling down, Youtube is my best friend. I check out random music from different countries, and occasionally I find some motivation. Some of them make you laugh.. because other languages seem silly to me. I'm Russian I was born and raised in Russia until I reached an age of legal. Since then, I have lived in the USA. Therefore, I'm fluent many languages and have learned more. Sometimes, I am having a laugh like a newborn watching videos that speak languages. Music isn't a priority since I'm focusing on the emotion and words rather than the music. Especially funny to me is French and Turkish Rap and Hip Hop.. Russian recitative and trap. Spanish hard rock. Chinese heavy metal. These songs may not even sound real. However, since all cultures and countries go through the same stages of development and processes, there are many genres of music that are common to all different cultures. This is what I enjoy..

Sometimes I make an album of songs for road trips. Because I don't have internet access during long cruises in the Arctic and am unable to save MP3s from my favorite YouTube videos, I prefer online mp3 converter apps. It's always fascinating to see which tunes are in high demand and are popular in different countries. Although it is often different music, sometimes artists such as Selena Gomez or BTS are included in the top-rated video clips from all or the majority of countries. It is usually a sign of a new single. It's fascinating to see the progression of these songs across countries to another and how they get into the ears of millions of people around the world. I don't like the majority of these tracks because I am more into local folklore. It's the kind of music you won’t listen to on USA radio. Russian music seems slightly unnatural to me. Maybe it's because I lived the majority of my life in the USA however Russian music has always seemed odd to me.
