How to keep connected with the music of your homeland even if your life has been somewhat boring for the past decade

What are you doing? I am a Russki boy who moved to America in search of better living conditions. I was poor in Russia and never had any wealth. I'm not saying that because of me. But my family. As an early adult in Russia the money wasn't an essential requirement. We had to find ways of earning money. There are a variety of schemes, the majority of which are similar to alcohol addicts who ask for money from their friends to purchase their communal vodka bottle. It was almost the same. We would look for easy ways to make some cash so we could even buy bread. We were always hungry.

So I finally made it to America and have had been here for a few months and seen the entire East Coast from Boston all the way to Miami and Key West and all the up to the middle states. It's a long way away from New York, Brooklyn and Brighton Beach. This place reminds me a lot of home. It's loud, dirty, filled with Russian languages, and the people are rude. There's plenty to do, including visiting Russian music and bookstores.

Music is my passion however books are my most loved. Nowadays, it is possible to read Russian books online, which has been the norm in recent years. I've stopped buying books in hardcopy. In addition, I don't have much space in our home, and my wife is an avid hoarder, so I try my best to avoid contributing to this. I also avoid buying new things to put in my home that I don't really need, since I have no place to put them. mp3 youtube Although piles and piles of books looked smart in the beginning, once they got older, they looked dull and dull. Then I moved them to my garage.

However, music is a different thing. My job requires a lot of driving, and I am constantly listening to music. Being I am a Russian native, I haven't been able to appreciate all the music of the present that I’ve found in the USA. I simply don't like rap, hip hop metal, rock and pop. I also don't like the new-age stuff kids like to dance to. I love old Russian music, as well as the Russian jail-type songs. These songs are still very popular in Russia after twenty years. They don't get on CDs - they are typically tapes found in cars as well as videos on Youtube. Youtube is now the only place to find all the data. This means I can sit for hours watching music on YouTube while I'm at work or when I get home from work.

I have a great playlist with 300 songs that I love. When I play this music that I listen to every both at night and day I'm not having any trouble in getting used to music since there are 300 songs. That's quite a number. However, when I want to listen to them while driving, I do not have internet access. I need it for navigation and driving. Therefore, I prepare at home. I'm at the middle of the list now I record a few songs from Youtube to mp3 files, then I burn the MP3s to a CD using my laptop, and then I take the CD to my car to listen. It is also possible to use an Youtube playlist to print the songs. Each song is transformed into MP3 and then stored on my computer. After you have the songs printed out, it is simple to save them to an audio CD. Sometimes, I'm a mess and make a data CD. It will not play on my old car stereo. When audio is recorded, it's incredible how technology is working. I don't have to be connected to mp3s, all I require is a CD to insert into the stereo slot in my car. The music of Russia is blasting through Manhattan as I drive around.


It's simple and inexpensive to copy videos from Youtube in mp3 format and you can download them to your Smartphone. One of my acquaintances connected his smartphone to the car stereo. It was playing excellent audio quality in less than two seconds. It didn't take too much Internet to stream Spotify or Pandora radio. I think I'll give this a shot. Of course, I'll take care not to connect to any wifi that is free.
