Internet Protocol television (IPTV) is the delivery of television content via Internet Protocol (IP) networks. This is in contrast to traditional terrestrial and satellite television. They can be provided over an internet-agnostic packet switched network, which uses the IP protocol to deliver audio, video, and control signals.
