Solitaire games are card games that are gaining popularity and are known to be highly addictive. The actual name for the game comes from the way in which the cards are arranged in a 36 square strategic layout. The goal is to re-order the cards in this layout so that each column, each row, and each of the 3x3 boxes (each of which contains a single card) contains the numbers 1 through 9 only once.
Solitaire is a favorite of most people, and it is especially popular amongst technology-savvy types who love the convenience of having the game on their computer rather than having to have a separate table. Solitaire was first published in the United States in 1981, and since then it has become extremely popular as a game of skill and of dexterity. The game is made up of two separate puzzles: the main tableau, and the solitaire version which is played on your computer.
The game of solitaire has a wide variety of modes, starting from skill levels of novice, to super skilled and finally to the super ancient skill level expert. There are countless strategies that may be applied towards solving the puzzles and scores are usually calculated by adding the columns and the rows.
As mentioned there are xbox one of Solitaire, which are a little different from the usual version. The ability of the different modes is somewhat limited, which means that only certain strategies may be used (more about this later).
Starting with the usual version, the object is to move the cards between the columns and rows in such a way as to create a natural ordering, meaning that all the cards will be available to be moved when played in any order. In other words, you can not move a specific card just because it is on another card of the same suit, and you cannot play lines that are not adjacent.
There are 5 different modes, ranging from Klondike, Pianta, Golf, and Spider to more advanced versions of both. The gameplay of solitaire proceeds as the player progresses through the different modes. refreshes the strategies used to gain access to the different modes.
Some solitaire games, however, allow changes to the deck of cards. In these games periodic card shuffling takes place, which involves shifting the deck to a new location and thus making all the different cards available and finding the new locations of the shrunken deck.
As there are many different types of solitaire games, developers have continued to develop different versions, many of which may be similar to an original one, but may have slightly different rules.
