The History of Gaming and Online Casino Games
If you were to ask a novice about the history of gambling and games could result in them saying that it occurred in the 16th century or 1 000 BC. As I've done my research I'm able to tell you that gambling has been around to the period of Zeus and the Olympian gods.

According to legend, the world was divided in hell, heaven, and water through Poseidon, Zeus, Hades and Zeus all in a single roll of a die. You know what you are going to tell me. This is all just a fable. But what about the archeological finds that have revealed dice-like shapes as far back as the year 40,000 BC. In the Roman Empire, gambling was also very popular.

The legend says that the Romans enjoyed all the pleasures of life including dancing, winning and dining, gladiator shows and entertainment through casino like games that required luck and skill. Many highly respected Roman politicians had gambling debts to pay and were taught to play the dice at school.

The earliest Greeks were also fond of games of chance, but they were later banned. The legend says that the Greeks did not have the same control as the Romans and therefore the boundaries needed to be set.

Many evidence of rudimentary gambling such as dice were also found in China around 2,300 BC or earlier. It is actually China that is the origin of the card games we play today. It is true that the Koreans developed the first versions of playing cards but the Chinese developed them using paper. Because in play free games , playing cards had to be created manually and independently and only craftsmen with artistic skills were able to create cards, only the rich could access them, which made them so desirable to the average person.

India, Ancient Persia and Mesopotamia were all cradles used for games of chance. It is believed that backgammon is an ancestor of these regions. At first, the game of throwing dice was closely connected to divination which is the art of predicting the future using signs created from runes, stones, bones, and pebbles. Later on visit became your regular game of luck that involves the throwing of dice.

Online Casino Games: The History
Many people are unaware of the impact that some of the current board and card games have on society and history. The secrecy of Mah-jong Solitaire in the Ming Dynasty, Gin Rummy in saloons of the old West and traces of Backgammon in the ancient Mesopotamia are just one of the many parallels between modern casino games and the most popular games played by generations of players throughout the history. The games have evolved from prisons and palaces all over the world, and found themselves on the internet.

Mah-jong

The game was first played by four people in 2000BC in the time it was an exclusive privilege for Chinese royals. It wasn't until thousands of years that the game began to become very popular with the Chinese working class, but it quickly became well-known in the western world

- in fact, once it reached the Chinese large numbers, it took only several decades for it to spread around the world. Because it was a mix of skill and luck, and due to its similarity to western games, it was easy to get access to in America's early 20th century. It's a game that has high stakes and calculated risks that are very well-liked today.

Gin Rummy

Gin Rummy came about from one of the many poker variations in America in the 18th Century. Whiskey Poker is largely regarded as the starting point for Gin Rummy, the rules are similar and there's even a strange variant called Gin Poker. In most countries, Gin is the common name for this competitive card game.

Solitaire

Solitaire is a single-player game, is among the most loved games around the world. From those in true solitude to the crowded casinos both on and offline the game that is often referred to in Europe as Patience gained momentum at the beginning of the 19th century, and has played an important role in global pop culture since.

Napoleon was thought to be a keen Solitaire player, but some say that he was a lover of other games played by card in France at the time.

Backgammon

Sleight variations of backgammon have been documented in a myriad of cultures for more than 6000 years. The game of turn has never lost popularity even through the successful rise of Chess. Backgammon has proven its worth through the generations and was introduced online in 1992.

The intricate game gained popularity all over the world. Backgammon was a favorite activity for the working-class throughout Europe, from Rome to the pyramids. Thomas Jefferson enjoyed a game of Backgammon during his time in the American office. In fact, the physical record of his game is still in place.

The game is being researched to this day. Domestic computer software allows you to analyze your strategy, and even challenge both computer and humans.

Poker

The roots of Poker similar to bagpipes and rugby, are highly debated. Many nations claim to have invented the great game of poker. However, the most commonly accepted version of the tale is that the game is based on the old French game of cards known as Bouillotte and that the name that we use today for poker was derived from the German game called Pochspiel, which means "to knock" .

The culture of the American South was full of poker. Blues, prohibition, and poker were all an integral part of Southern culture and were a crucial element of American society in Louisiana. Today online Poker is quite possibly the top played game amongst Internet players.

Online gaming is the thing today's a big deal... Enjoy the games that have been played by kings and peasants alike. Enjoy the excitement that played a role in shaping and degrading empires over thousands of years.
