Eleanor,
I was so excited when I got your letter!! My mom was like "Ria, you've got something from-" and I was like "Eleanor!!". I really loved your little card with your name imprinted, and your handwriting is so gorgeous. I'm really loving the letter writing; it's so fun. I could just like set up like an antique desk and write in the candlelight with my fancy feather quill. Except I don't have any of that, so I'm just writing this with my favorite pen.

I've missed you so much. Every time I see your picture on the slideshow on my photowidget, I get so excited. I haven't really kept in contact with anyone, but I haven't communicated with even my Kingsport friends as much as I usually do. I kinda needed some time to just myself and I've been doing a lot of introspection. It's also harder since I've deleted snap for the time being, and sometimes I regret doing that since I miss everyone's faces. It was stressing me out, though, since I had added my other friends when I wasn't supposed to, so I just deleted it and will wait until November when my parents will allow me to have social media. I had talked to Shiv and Kaustubh in the first couple of weeks the most. I talked to Kaustubh almost everyday, but then our schedules stopped aligning, so it was harder. And then I went on my communication break. And now I just don't want to talk to him because I just don't have feelings for him and I really just want us to be friends. I have very mixed feelings about him right now just because I think going for it was the wrong move. I kind of think I go too fast when I need to go at a snail's pace. My feelings also started to die out halfway through which caused a lot of problems for me.

But in two weeks, my school will start, so that's crazy. I've actually been grinding all month, so it feels like the workload hasn't ended since real school and gov school. Yet, I still haven't done my summer assignments. I also have band camp starting this week which will be all day, 9-9. That means I won't be able to come to Nashville since I'll be busy with camp and my mom starts working that week, too. I wish I was able to come, though. A double celebration would have been so cool, and I would love to see y'all again. Things are just getting really hectic here, so it's not the best time. When does your school start? What classes are you taking?

I'm taking AP Bio this year, so Dr. Price's wise words will come in handy. It also be good to have the knowledge of R for statistics instead of just AP Stats for my AP Research class. I actually have been in Johnson City this past month. I went once with my mom to the Indian store there, even though I don't usually come. I had to go to the scoliosis doctor there, too. I also bought my car from a dealership there. It's the blue color Shreeya loves. I showed her a pic, and she was so excited.

You'll also have to tell me all about your birthday. I know I'm going to tell everyone that my bestie Eleanor's birthday is on the 22nd. I think that's also when AP scores come out, so that's a scary present. I know seeing all your great scores will make your day better, though. I don't know if this letter will come in time for your birthday, but, regardless, happy birthday to one of the most amazing people I've had the pleasure to meet and one of my most favorite people in the whole world! I love you, Eleanor! <33
