Activism 101 - Finding Out How to Become an Activist

For anyone wanting to start a new career in the realm of social action, the question often arises as to how to become an activist. Activism is one thing, becoming an academic or political philosopher of some sort is quite another. Fortunately, the answer is not all that difficult once you break it down to simple terms.


In order to really understand how to become anything, first consider how you think. You begin by examining your own thoughts. How do you think, and how can you use your thoughts to effect change? Once you understand how you process information, you can begin to understand how you might go about changing your own behavior, and thus the world.
