The Difference between S-video Cables & Component Video Connectors

Many children nowadays love Xbox video gaming systems. But not all children love them. Parents often need to buy extra accessories for their children to keep them entertained. In these instances, the child may want to play with an external device that uses a S-video video connector rather than an Xbox one.

The problem with the S-video cables is that they can become disconnected from their source due to overheating issues. This can cause distortions in the image on your monitor. The colors displayed on your screen may change if the link between the source/display is damaged. S-video cables are usually covered with fiberglass or a metal shield to prevent this.
