Baru-baru ini seekor kucing di Chicago, Amerika Serikat (AS) terekam kamera lompat dari lantai lima sebuah gedung yang terbakar.
Breaking News Dikutip dari NBC News, peristiwa itu terjadi pada 14 Mei 2021. Saat itu personel Departemen Pemadam Kebakaran Chicago mengambil video dari bagian luar gedung saat petugas pemadam kebakaran sedang memadamkan kobaran api. Tiba-tiba ketika seekor kucing hitam muncul melalui asap yang mengepul di jendela yang pecah.
Kucing yang melarikan diri dari api dengan singkat bertahan di tepi jendela bangunan dengan cakar depannya. Tak lama kemudian, dia melompat.
Penonton tersentak saat kucing itu jatuh. Tapi dia mengenai dinding saat meluncur ke bawah dan malah mendarat dengan keempat cakar di atas rumput. Kucing itu sempat terpental sekali dan segera kabur.
“Kucing itu masuk ke bawah mobil saya dan bersembunyi sampai dia merasa lebih baik setelah beberapa menit dan keluar dan mencoba memanjat dinding untuk masuk kembali," kata juru bicara pemadam kebakaran Chicago, Larry Langford.
Kucing itu tidak terluka, kata Langford. Dia menjelaskan akan mencoba melacak pemiliknya.
Tidak ada korban luka yang dilaporkan setelah kebakaran yang terjadi di satu apartemen. Penyebab kebakaran belum dilaporkan oleh petugas, maupun berapa banyak kerusakan yang ditimbulkan.
