<strong>It's not often you get to hear a song from Activision's Tony Hawk franchise on a game controller, but that was the case with Tony Hawk Rise of the Tony Hawk.</strong>
<p>If Activision hadn't made the effort to recreate the music for the game's multiplayer mode, it would have been easy pickings for the Tony Hawk-themed EDM tracks from Activision</p>
<p>Activision's Tony Hawk franchise is known for its excellent single-player campaign and its memorable soundtrack, so when the company tried to do both with the Tony Hawk, it succeeded admirably. That's not to say the multiplayer component didn't have a few memorable moments, though. Here's our list of the best songs from Tony Hawk Rise of the Tony Hawk.</p>

It's a shame, then, that the multiplayer component is still one of the least memorable I've encountered in a Tony Hawk game. The Tony Hawk soundtrack captures the spirit of Tony Hawk in a way that few other Tony Hawk games have been able to match, but it doesn't make it any more compelling than it should be.</p>
<p>The most important thing to remember in Tony Hawk Rise of the Tony Hawk is that it's a multiplayer shooter. The primary goal of the game is to kill the other team's soldiers, and you do that by tapping an opposing team's soldier on the D-pad, which causes him or her to drop his or her shield and start attacking the enemy. It's a simple mechanic that doesn't change from match to match, meaning you'll never get bored with it, and the music is also rarely boring, making it one of the best multiplayer scores ever.</p>
