Seven Day Trips From Lisbon to Spice up Your Portugal Holiday

Lisbon (Lisboa) is a renowned city with over 20 centuries of history. The capital of Portugal after the Moorish conquest of 1147, it's incredibly likable and lively, boasting several activities strenuous one is undivided attention... well, at least for the very first couple of times. As our business of friends not too long ago revealed for ourselves, there is much more to Portugal when you satiate yourself with Lisboa's flavour. Day trip one: Porto Do not stop on the way, for there is a lot to see in Porto--Lisboa's rival locale. But hold onto your hat, because there you'll be welcomed with an effective ocean breeze.


Day trip 3: Cascais - Estoril Give yourself the royal therapy as well as sun bathe at Spanish kings' favourite harbour city of Cascais (you can also visit the local castle ruins or the ocean park). Once inside the UNESCO World Heritage town of Evora, visit the marketplace and also the Roman Temple. Surprise yourselves with random stops at the many prominent wineries on the way to the marble-clad medieval town of Estremoz.


Day trip seven: Parque Natural Arrabida - Sesimbra - Setubal Go for a bicycle tour or perhaps a dive at the Arrabida Natural Park. Do a seafood as well as beach comparative degustation along the coast in between the fishing village of Setubal and Sesimbra. Get a well deserved quiet at a local spa.
