BEHIND THOSE SCENES: BIRTHDAY BOON WALL PHOTOSHOOT TO INSTAGRAM *easy $5 Balloon Wand! *

[Music, ], Applause. ], [Music,, ], Hello, Guys, and welcome back my channel. Today I'm going to show you a behindthe-scenes video from my birthday. You can see it on my instagram. So basically, i show you how i make this diy balloon wall, and then i show you kind of the step by step of taking the photos and all of that. I'll show you what i bought at the dollar store and what i used for this photo shoot. I just got back to the dollar store, so i haven't yet prepared. I got only one pack the second time i went. They didn't have them. I went across to the craft shop and bought more balloons. So i'm now going to show what i got. After that, i'm planning to fill them all up and get ready to shoot. It's roughly 4, 3. 34 The photo shoot will take place in my basement. Studio lighting will be used because the outdoor lighting is likely to begin to dim. I'm just looking for consistent lighting. I will also use a sheet of white as a background. You can even choose to color it another color. These are my thoughts regarding this shoe. Image Rocket 'm going to tell you what i bought so here is what i have. I got these from the dollar store and it's unfortunate that they're different colors, but i actually think it's gon na look nice different, like different pink. I got these first and then i went back to the dollar store. They didn’t have any. I ordered white for the sake of safety. I was unable to find other balloons at um the art store so i bought them. These are pink balloons, so they won't be used. I'll keep the white ones for when i need them. And then i got these from the dollar store they're, just like really small 14 inch, they're decent size balloons the two, because i'm turning 22. um, i'm gon na play around with this - and this is one of the dollar store balloons that i blew up. It's pink. It goes perfectly with my brand. It's perfect for my feed. I'm very excited to see how it goes. But now i'm gon na go blow up these balloons. I will only do one of these in one balloon and then we'll go from [Music ] there to [Applause], ] [, Music], ]. Okay, so now we have 30 balloons. I might make more depending on what i do with them. I don't know if i want them attached to a skirt, or a dress. We'll see. But we have 30 balloons. Now we're going inside to set it up. Okay. There are 30 balloons in front of me. It was extremely hot when I was blowing up those balloons. It is extremely humid. But we will continue to get ready before we do a shoot. But i knew this one would be very labor-intensive because of all the setup and blowing up the balloons. I think we will do a balloon wall first, and then we'll decide what to do. I have no idea. We will just let our creativity run wild. I have nothing else to say. After that, i'll get ready, wash off my sweat, and apply makeup. Do my hair and this may be a late night for the shoot. I rarely do anything at night. I am a relaxed person, but we are able to stay up late. So that is what we're gon na do. So this doesn't look like 30 balloons, but i promise you it is. I, like corralled them on the ping pong table with some stiff, so it didn't fall off and this is the area i need to clean out. This is our basement gym. So i'm gonna na clean all this out and hang the white sheets from the ceiling. Then, we'll na see how we're going to do it. Now we're ready! Now, we'll put up our white sheets. This is what you do if a there isn't a white wall in the house. You don't want to spend the money on backdrops. I will eventually but for now the white sneakers [ Music,] are enough. Okay, this is actually my first time doing this, but it looks so good. The edges look flat and seamless because I used weights. I have our basements a mess, but i have my lighting boxes down here and i'm gon na set them up here. I'm going to move the table of pingpong back and then i'll set up the wall. Okay. These clothes pins were for the balloons. My mom was playing the keyboard okay so i bought the mini clothes pins from Dollar Store for the white walls. When i got the balloons - and i wasn't actually going to use them for this photo shoot, but i think they'd be great to actually hook the balloons onto the sheet, if not i'll, probably use clothespins or something i don't know. This is my preferred method. Let's see if this works. [, Music] Okay, pause. This should be done with my studio light off, so you can see it - it doesn't look like there is a gel cell. I'm going na turn those off, and hopefully you could get a better view um. How this thing is coming along. That literally could have gone so wrong. I could have damaged my studio lighting and could have lost the entire balloon. So I'm going one more time to make balloons. I need to get up and go make a few more before i come back and finish the wall. You guys, it's okay! So i am back upstairs. It is approximately 5 50. I am going to have dinner at 6:50 and then get ready. Do my hair. Makeup and shoot the photo. I can't wait for the final result. I will return once i look much more presentable. Okay guys, so i finished getting ready got my hair done. I did my makeup. I even used false eyelashes to make it look bigger. I don't really know what I'm going to wear. I think i might wear the graduation dress that i used for my graduation photos. It's white, and it will look great with the pink. It also goes with my feed on instagram, so i'm gon na put that on and we're gon na try it out. You can always go back and change your outfit if you don't like it. Um so [ Music ] ignore the mess in the background i'm doing my sheets um, but this is what i'm going to wear for the photo. It's super super cute. Ever. It'S probably going to be in my closet for the longest while until I can fit it any more um, but it's so adorable. If you're interested, I'M going to leave the URL down below. It's essentially a wrapped spaghetti top. This top looks great when paired with a brown tan. It has a like ruffle bottom, and zips in the rear. These straps can be adjusted. Super cute fits so good. This is a lulu's and um. I think it will make a beautiful contrast between my tan and the pink balloons. I love this dress. Okay, guys so i have my light boxes set up, i'm obviously gon na get rid of this chair and i wanted to show you. I also bought these balloons at the dollar store. I can't wait for these to turn out. So these are actually a pretty good find, especially for photos. They were only a penny each at the dollar shop. They're about 14 inches wide and super easy to blow. I believe you just need to stick the straw into [ Applause] and that's it. I should have told ya that i loved u one more, one more times: [ Music ]. I should have told my friend that i still love you. It is actually only 9 o'clock. I am still wetting. My hair decided that it likes uncurl slash frzz to do its thing. I'm not too happy about this. I think i took some great shots. I did a bunch of different poses. I tried my best to get enough footage for you guys so that you can see how it looks behind the scenes. I filmed on my iphone because i use this to take my pictures, so it's kind of hard to get footage at the same time when i'm using this to take pictures. But i think i got the shot i'm going to try and move on to the other shot that i wanted to get tonight um, but i am so so hot. It is so so hot um, surprisingly it's just really humid out and the basement doesn't have ac. It worked out very well, I believe. I did most of the work with the balloons. I didn’t do very much with the wells. You never know. But i am so obsessed, that i might actually leave this up. Perhaps i could come back and get pictures to prove that I did get what i wanted. OK, i will see that you are in my computer, as we're about to start editing and looking through all the images. [Applause],[, Music],] Ok, guys, here's my laptop. These are some of the photos that i narrowed to. There were a lot of photos. I had to go through a lot and delete them a lot of them. My hair was very frizzy. We're going to need to fix that in photoshop. I've already done some editing in photoshop. This is how the final look came about. The first picture is what i chose. I love just how exciting it is and the balloons that are floating in the air. So the first thing i did to this photo was, i edited my hair to make sure that it didn't look too frizzy. This was done on the photo layer. Here, i used a rubber stamp tool. Because it was looking a bit dark, i blurred my armpit. Because of my hairy armpit, it's not how i roll. I then photoshopped balloons from other photos and added them in. It looks pretty realistic, so that is the first photo that i wanted to show you guys. Okay here is the next photo that i chose. So this is actually just the original photo, i didn't add any balloons or anything. However, you can see the changes i made to my hair here. If you zoom in and pay attention to it, but most likely no one's gon na notice that and if they do they do, but it's not a big deal, it doesn't ruin the picture. I also tried to anti-frizz my hair with this tool and again used the rubber stamped tool to make sure that there was no frizz. And, as i did with the last picture, when i put it into lightroom, the filter blurs some of the Edges but doesn't make it look quite as choppy in photoshop. This is the second photo i am thinking about posting. Okay. Here's the third image that i thought of posting. And here is what i did. The last photo was taken by me. I mask that photo and took the balloons from that layer, masked it, and laid them on this photo. It will look very realistic, just like the previous two photos. Also, keep in view that i will crop this to a 4/5 ratio. You won't likely see any of the area surrounding this photo. I also wanted to show you guys this original photo. Without the balloons, it looks quite barren. So i threw those balloons over and it looks cute kind of plays with that depth of field um in the photo. This is the third image. You can see all the photos on my Instagram. But i will show you the after-effects of lightroom after [Music ].
