1. Augurey adalah satwa gaib dengan KKM : XX dan termasuk Beast. Augureys, atau Phoenix Irlandia, pernah dikaitkan dengan tongkat kegelapan yang kuat, mereka dianggap sebagai pertanda kematian yang akan datang. Namun, mereka pada kenyataannya bukanlah inti untuk sihir kegelapan , namun lebih tepatnya untuk Divinations. Siswa yang salah memahami mungkin merasa menemukan dirinya terikat ke tongkat augurey, meskipun tongkat tersebut memang cukup langka.
2. Ciri-ciri Augurey :
-Berwarna hitam kehijauan
-Memiliki tampang sedih
-Mirip burung hering kecil yang kurang makan
-Pemalu
-Suka mendekam di sarangnya
-Hanya terbang di saat hujan
-Memiliki suara berupa jeritan rendah.
3. Saya akan meninggalkan tempat tersebut dan melapor pada professor karena walaupun Augurey bukan satwa yang berbahaya, namun suara jeritannya terdengar mengerikan.
4(a). Bulu Augurey bisa digunakan sebagai inti wand.
(b). Karena pada dasarnya, jeritan Augurey hanya dikaitkan sebagai pertanda kematian, bukan penyebab kematian, namun Uric si Bola Aneh mengira (bahkan yakin) bahwa dirinya telah mati karena jeritan Augurey yang ada di ruangan bersamanya.
