1. Augurey ber-KKM XX dan termasuk Beast. Augurey pernah dikaitkan dengan tongkat kegelapan yang kuat, mereka dianggap sebagai pertanda kematian yang akan datang. Tp, mereka pada kenyataannya bukanlah inti untuk sihir kegelapan , namun lebih tepatnya untuk Divinations. Kadang siswa yang salah memahami mungkin merasa menemukan dirinya terikat ke tongkat augurey, meskipun tongkat tersebut memang cukup langka.

- penampilan yg agak mirip burung hering kecil yang kurang makan.

- bersarang di semak dan duri
- hanya terbang sewaktu hujan lebat
3. berusaha menjauhi ataupun mengganggunya. karena menurut saya jeritannya yang menandakan kematian sangat menyeramkan
4. a) bulu ekor yang dapat digunakan sebagai inti wand
b) krn jeritan augurey hanya 'menandakan' kematian, dan penilitian mengungkapkan jeritan tsb hanya ketika menjelang hujan. jadi Uric si Bola Aneh tidaklah langsung mati saat mendengarnya.
