Prolouge



I've lived in the Isle of the Lost for as long as I can remember, villains and their families have been locked in here for over 20 years.

I am Harley Hearts, my mother is the Queen of Hearts, you know, the evil, cruel, horrible queen who planned to kill Alice and all her other little wonderland friends.

Being locked up with a bunch of villains, it helps you learn a thing or two: first of all, any prissy little princess and her perfect little prince from Auradon is automatically our enemy, we hate them all

Second, be evil, being nice and kind to someone other than your parents here is considered weak, stupid, useless, the list goes on, to us, being called 'nice' is an insult, I only even made four friends on this stupid island.

Jay, the son of Jaffar, who was a sad old man that sold whatever his son stole.

Evie, daughter of the miserable Evil Queen, that woman never gets over herself, she's self-absorbed and obsessed with mirrors.

Carlos, the son of Cruella de Vil, now that woman is as crazy as one can be, and she treats her son like trash.

Finally, Mal, daughter of Maleficent. Maleficent is the one adult here I can stand apart from my mother, she knows what evil is, she's not miserable and sad, even if she's trapped in this prison, she's still as cruel as ever.

People like to say that Maleficent is the worst villain, I mean, I respect her and all, but please- my mother executed people as a punishment, the reason people don't fear her, is because without her guards, she can't really hurt them.

I hated Auradon and everyone that lived there more than anything, I knew we were destined to live here forever trapped, at some point I'll have kids, they're be evil, and they'll also be trapped here, and then they'll have kids, who like the rest of us, will have no future out there, and then it just goes on and on.

I don't exactly hate it here, we do anything we want, there's no rules, and nobody can say anything about it, our lives weren't that bad, and honestly, I'd rather be here than out there, not like I'd be able to choose anyways, or so I thought.
