Product Review: Wacky Tracks Fidget Toy Wacky Tracks is a fidget toy that you can use anywhere you go. It�s a small, circular device that can be used to fidget with during a meeting, lunch break, or when you�re bored. It comes in a few different colours that you can choose from when you purchase one. The device itself has a soft touch plastic exterior. The colour is black and there�s a small blue LED light under the plastic. The wacky tracks are roughly 4 cm in height. With a diameter of approximately 1.2 cm, this device sits in your palm. It comes with two unfolded and secured sides that fit neatly into one another.

There�s also a micro USB charging port and a built in rechargeable battery. This rechargeable battery takes 15 minutes to fully charge, which could also be used for your other devices. Your device comes with a USB-to-Lightning cable that you can use to connect to charging pads. This charging cable charges the battery approximately 10 times.

The buttons on the front of the device have raised ridges and are easy to find with one hand. They allow for a firm grip of the device, which is perfect for those with small hands, or anyone who doesn�t have large hands. The buttons also have ridges that allow the user to lift the device up for easy access if they need to change the settings for whatever reason.

The north and south sides of the device have slightly different degrees of friction. As you use your finger to indicate what side has which direction, you will hear a faint beep and your finger will automatically slide up and down the direction pad. As you rotate the direction pad, you get more responsive sounds where each action plays out. The beep sound is louder when you�re using the south side of the device. Once the directions are jumbled, you get a clearer audible beep.

4. Our experience with the wacky tracks fidget toy



The wacky tracks fidget toy is a great way to keep your hands busy if you�re restless or if you�re dealing with anxiety. Whenever we�re having a rough day, we�ll pull out the wacky tracks and keep our hands occupied in order to keep our minds off of our problems.You wouldn�t think that an object as simple as a gizmo would do much, considering the price tag is so low, but the track works like a charm. In fact, its flexibility and inner workings make it even more effective than the expensive calming toys that are often recommended for dealing with stress.

The physical design of the track consists of one or two track pieces that can be easily swapped out whenever you�d like to change the duration or number of tracks. Each piece can be unfolded to be held in your hands or tied together to make small pivoting movements that help you work your way through your to-do list. The rubber ends of the track pieces are also flexible, and can be easily stretched out for a smoother session.

The design of the prototype we reviewed was shinny, with simple yet modern lines and sleek black plastic finishes on the two pairs of track pieces. Though the finished finished product may be somewhat off-putting to some, the prototype we reviewed was easy to clean since its plastic shell cleans up easily with water or hand soap.

The rubber material that the track pieces are made from helps to control the movement of the toy. If your piece gets stuck on something or you don�t do enough movement, simply squeeze the rubber material with your fingers. This serves as a gentle stop to ensure the track goes in the other direction in order to free itself if it gets stuck.

The hearing device uses pulses of sound to help settle your mind and pacify you. A single, 40-second sound pulse is enough to quell any minute anxiety or tension.
