This was a massive surprise to members of the group who were led to believe that they only had one account to use for general use of the songs they downloaded from the internet. There was no way to label them and were given the choice of using their accounts for all purposes. People from China, particularly the young generation, were shocked at the plight of the incident.</p>
<p>A lot of subscribers to the new membership plans of Spotify have filed lawsuits against the service provider, claiming that they only use just a fraction of available space to store their music libraries, with some even threatening to deluge the company with grievances. Some claim that their real motive is not to use the service for illegal activities, but rather to enjoy unlimited access to classical music from their computers or mobile devices. Some claim that they only wish to enjoy the most classical music feasible. Spotify however has denied the assertions made by these members and offered apology to the people on their official website. Spotify claims that their latest subscription packages are far better than the previous ones, offering larger storage along with a host of no-cost options such as background music and shuffle that allow your music play in a more professional way.</p>

<p>People, even members of social networks, complained at the prospect of having to buy a premium membership to Spotify. This service is an excellent value and has witnessed an impressive increase in membership. Though Spotify allows a free trial period to premium customers but it's still costly. The members of the Reddit China thread were among those who commented negatively about the necessity to subscribe to a premium account to utilize Spotify. This is unjust to force everyone to pay for something that they already have. They also pointed out the possibility that premium accounts only start at purchase. Users also pointed out that they can simply make use of the free trial of Spotify for a chance to evaluate if the subscription can be worth the cost to maintain a premium account.</p>
