Leadership is the ability of an individual or a group of individuals to influence and guide followers or other members of an organization. Most professionals develop their own style of leadership based on factors like experience and personality as well as the unique needs of their company and its organizational culture. We are team 17 of BizSkill Project consisting of Denio Shaji John, Roshin Roy, Soumya Saxena, Sakshi Thakur, Ashish Mathew John, PITCHIKA SRI LALITHA, Mohammed Ali Siddique and Adwaith S .

​Our task was to prepare Pecha Kutcha Presentation on the different leadership styles at the workplace. It was a great experience after joining the breakout session as we got to know each other very well and did a lot of fun activities too.

What is Leadership Style?
Leadership styles are how a leader guides a team through different stages. These styles dictate how a leader implements plans, provides guidance, and overlooks work. Based on different personalities and methods, there are many different styles.

Now, as we got a gist of how a leader impacts the organization as a whole, it's your turn to find out what kind of a leader you are.

Authoritative leadership is a management style in where the leader is in complete control. This kind of leadership style is needed for a company when it is facing a period of struggle. Here the leader takes command, drives the team towards a common goal, making little or no mistakes and in a short duration of time.
Democratic leadership, also known as participative leadership is a type of a leadership style where the group members are given the opportunity to share ideas and opinion. It often helps in fostering higher level of employee engagement and workspace satisfaction which leads to higher productivity, better contributions from group members and increased group morale.
