- Hanafi terkejut lgsg buru'' menuju RS Paderi dan stlh melewati berbagai halangan (verpleger, suster, dan dokter) ia bisa bertemu istrinya di barak (dokter ok krn percaya corrie gabisa ditolong lgi)
- saat hanafi asuk dan melihat istrinya terbaring lemas tak berdaya di tempat tidur, corrie bangun dan hanafi memegang tangan istrinya
- corrie mengelus kepala suaminya dan berkata sdh mengampuni dosanya, ia skrg ingin memberikan selamat tinggal
- corrie meminta ampun (forgive my dosa) dan hanafi jga meminta ampun
- corrie pingsan sbntr kemudian terbngn lgi utk mengatakan selamat tinggal (kata'' terkahir)
- hanafi histeris saat corrie menutup matanya dan tdk dibuka lgi, ia menjerit-jerit meminta tolong suster sblm akhirnya pingsan (-> dibantu verpleger dibaringkan di tempat tidur di samping corrie
0- suster menyuruh oto hanafi yg masi berada di luar utk kembali ke tempat nyonya utk menyerahkan koper, membawa surat suster dan memberitahu apa yg terjdi
