Demands the sale of shares of David Degen: Bernhard Burgener .

Bernhard Burgener is suing David Degen in the FC Basel ownership dispute. The Board of Directors supports Burgener's plans. However, it is not possible to come to an agreement.

The majority of the committee of four comprising Burgener and Degen as well as Karl Odermatt and Peter von Buren, approved the plan of the former owner. He demanded Degen to sell his stake to the potential buyer, Basel Dream & Vision AG, according to an official statement from the company that holds it.
In doing so in doing so, the Board of Directors relies on a contractually stipulated law that permits Burgener to sell its own shares to those of minority shareholders on the same conditions. This drag-along method is deemed superior to Degen's presale rights.
Burgener together with his team, have made moves in this dispute over owners. Degen is seeking to use his right to first refusal to 16.4 million Francs. Burgener's 80 percent stake in Basel Dream & Vision AG has been stopped by a super-provisional restraining order. Centricus is the British asset manager, would also have a stake. Burgener would still have the majority of votes.
According to FC Basel Holding AG's announcement Burgener and Degen seek an out-of court settlement "in the best interest of FCB."
