Improve your academic skills. Do you want your school choices to be more diverse? Do you want to avoid having to accept scholarships from schools you don't like, just because you couldn't academically qualify for your top choice schools?
It is a good idea to practice or scrimmage with a team that has more athletic running backs in the weeks before the game. If your team has a similar type of running back to mine, it is unlikely that they have any other big athletes to practice against. You must find a way that your team can get some practice against a larger player to boost their confidence.

It might take weeks, months or even years to find the right answer. Start working on this as soon as you are able, preferably your freshman or sophomore year of high school.
