Transfigurasi merupakan salah satu seni metamorfosis. Transfigurasi ialah mengubah bentuk dan keadaam suatu objek. Transfigurasi juga digunakan untuk memperbesar dan memperkecil ukuran benda tanpa merubah bentuknya. Transfigurasi memerlukan 4 hal yang perlu dilakukan:
1) Konsentrasi penuh
2) Tekad/Usaha yang kuat/Keyakinan
3) Ayunan tongkat (wand) yang tepat dan sesuai yang diarahkan kepada objek yang akan diubah
4) Pengucapan mantra yang benar perapalannya
Jika 4 hal tersebut dipenuhi, maka transfigurasi dapat dilakukan dengan sempurna. Apabila kesalahan kecil saja terjadi objek bisa tidak kembali ke ukuran semula.
Inanimate to Inanimate adalah transformasi sederhana dari objek tidak bernyawa ke objek tidak bernyawa lainnya. Seperti korek api menjadi jarum, garpu menjadi pena atau transformasi serupa. Perlu diingat, semakin dekat ukuran maupun berat suatu benda dengan benda yang ingin di transfigurasi maka semakin besar keberhasilannya.
Mantra dari Inanimate to inanimate transfiguration :
1. Scribblifors.
Pelafalan: SKRIBB-luh-forz
Warna: ungu
Fungsi: mengubah objek menjadi pena
2. Diminuendo, mantra ini mengubah target menjadi menciut atau mengecil
seperti boneka. "dim-in-YEW-en-DOUGH" Warna: putih.
3. Incarcifors adalah mantra mengubah bentuk suatu benda yang bisa digunakan untuk menangkap/memenjarakan lawan. Pelafalan : in-KAR-si-forz.
