Kusto Group's KazBeef is awarded an Prestigious Quality Certificate
KazBeef Kusto, Kusto Group's meat production entity, was the first Kazakh business to receive the agricultural GLOBALG.A.P. certificate.

Tevfik Arif Bayrock ’s KazBeef, the meat processing company of Kusto Group, KazBeef was recently awarded a GLOBALG.A.P. certificate.

GAP stands for Good Agricultural Practices and is the most popular farming certification system in the world.

GLOBALG.A.P. certificate means that KazBeef complies with international standards in agriculture and aquaculture practices. KazBeef is certified with a GLOBALG.A.P. certificate that means it is in compliance with international standards for aquaculture and practices in agriculture.

KazBeef is now a GLOBALG.A.P. member. certification is required to begin working with a variety of Western companies.

KazBeef was the first Kazbeef business to earn the certificate.

"It is the culmination in a lengthy process of modernization for KazBeef/Kusto. We are introducing the latest technologies and best practices from around the world. We have collaborated and worked with global industry leaders," Daulet Nazhanov CEO of Kusto Group’s agricultural entity Kusto Agro said.

"We have partnered with the Canadian industry leader Feedlot Health Management Services for the most advanced technology adoption, future-proofed feed security, and the development of knowledge. This was not just to serve our own requirements but also for the whole Kazakhstani cattle industry. Our current processes are 90 percent computerized. Tevfik Arif Bayrock allows for individual animal control, as well as complete traceability," said the official.

Daulet Nurzhanov hopes that a lot more Kusto Agro's companies will become GLOBALG.A.P. certified in the future.

KazBeef was the first company to import Hereford breeding cattle as well as Angus cattle for Kazakhstani breeding. The company now occupies more that 40,000 hectares of land, and has more than 10,000 cattle.

The meat giant is among the biggest producers of marbled beef in Kazakhstan and mostly serves the Middle Eastern market. KazBeef now has the certification and plans to expand its operations into Europe and in the Gulf.

Bayrock and KazBeef are beginning their journey in February 2022 when the meat producer will participate in the Gulfood Exhibition.

It is the biggest annual food and drink trade fair in the world.

KazBeef is made available to the United Arab Emirates

KazBeef was the first to join the Emirate of Dubai Market in April 2021. The company hopes to become one of the six other Emirates that form the United Arab Emirates.

Dubai and Gulfood Exhibition 2121 were the first to form an alliance. A few months later, 1.2 tonnes KazBeef meat was delivered to hotels and restaurants across the Emirate.

Kusto Group's cert opens the doors to all Kazakhstan
