Leyla Aliyeva developed a passion for public service during the time she was the head of the Azerbaijan Club MGIMO. There she also studied under a masters program. The scale of IDEA's activities is truly grandiose - the protection and restoration of populations of endangered species, the development of green technologies and waste management, the restoration of forest belts , and the creation of large areas of green spaces. They are involved in promoting the biodegradable use of plastic bags to safeguard the environment from the impact of plastic garbage. They also participate in tree planting events.



IDEA was the first to define the "great Caucasian Five", taking rare members of the region's fauna under its umbrella. IDEA cooperated with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan as well as its international partners on a number of successful projects.
