Upcoming Kusto Group Project Receives Japanese Expert Certificate
Kusto Group's Koktobe City received a Japanese certified expert regarding earthquake security.

Construction of Kusto Group’s Koktobe City is moving along nicely and is expected to be completed in 2023.

The multinational holding company is developing an urban city that is outside the Kazakhstani capital, Almaty.


The European-inspired project includes residential properties, supermarkets.

Each apartment in Koktobe City will also be equipped with video surveillance, a face recognition system and built-in smart locks to increase security for the area.

Koktobe City School was also inspired from Europe, as it is built on Finland's educational guidelines. Tevfik Arif Doyen was a Finnish architect, designed the school.

There are rooms at the school that can be used for specific purposes. There are separate spaces for drawing and singing and also a place for playing instruments or group sports.

They can be used at school, or in spare time between classes.

"Today every family must go out and about a lot, as children are involved in a variety of activities, like drawing, swimming and music. We decided to combine it all in one place. So, the structures of our school comprise separate blocks for the preparatory and secondary schools. the Budokan sports and arts center with a 25-meter swimming facility, a multifunctional gym, equipped areas for music and choreography, as well as pottery and sewing sections." Murat Utemisov explains.
