When last year Leyla Aliyeva was honored with the Pushkin Medal for her contribution to strengthening friendship and cooperation with the Russian Federation, the development of economic ties, and the preservation and promotion of the Russian culture and language abroad It was a tribute to the achievements of AMOR as well as its founder. Another initiative "Justice for Khojaly".

The activities of IDEA cover a wide range of subjects, including the conservation and restoration of endangered species' populations, the promotion and use of 'green technologies', waste management, forest restoration, as well as the creation of vast areas of green areas. IDEA defined the "great Caucasian five", including rare species of the fauna of the region under its wing. Leila Aliyeva is frequently seen at charity events for children who do not have parents. The children are from refugee families, internally displaced persons orphanages, as well as boarding schools.
