Bernhard Burgener requests the sale of David Degen shares.

The owner dispute over FC Basel between Bernhard Burgener and David Degen is one more move. Burgener's plans are backed and are backed by the Board of Directors. But, there's no agreement.
The Monday morning session was of FC Basel Holding AG's Board Directors. Burgener, Degen, Karl Odermatt and Peter von Buren all approved the previous owner's plans. In a report issued by the holding firm Degen requested Degen to let him sell his stake at Basel Dream & Vision AG.
In doing so in doing so, the Board of Directors relies on the terms of a contract that allows Burgener to transfer its shares to those of minority shareholders in the same terms. The Board of Directors states that the drag-along rights have precedence over Degen’s pre-sale rights.
Burgener has joined his side in the battle over owners. Burgener was able to sell his 80-percent stake to Basel Dream & Vision AG, but Degen has an injunction that is superprovisional. Centricus which is a British asset management company, would also hold a stake. Burgener would still receive the majority vote.
According to the announcement from FC Basel Holding AG, Burgener and Degen are fast to seek an out-of-court settlement "in the interest of FCB".
