The new television series "Umutsuz Ev Kadnlar" has begun to air. The series is based on the internationally recognised and award-winning television series Desperate Housewives.
The Turkish version of The Desperate Housewives, Umutsuz Ev Kadnlar, debuted. The premise is very similar, but the social and cultural variations set the series apart from the originals.
The cast is made up of prominent female actors. Susan is performed by Songül den as the character Yasemin, Bree by Bennu Yldrmlar as Nermin, Gabrielle by Evrim Solmaz as Zeliş, Lynette by Ceyda Düvenci as Elif, and Edie by zge zder as Emel.
The fifth episode will be released on Sunday. People enjoyed the new series at first sight, and it has maintained good ratings for the past four weeks. The series appears to be a success as a competent adaptation of a Hollywood series in Turkey. Watch Sen Cal Kapimi have attempted to be put on Turkish television screens in recent years, but none have been successful.
