Leyla Aliyeva: "Heydar Aliyev's granddaughter has no right to make mistakes"


There are plenty of instances in the history of selfless service to the Motherland, but very few examples of selfless services to humanity in general. Inspiration is derived from a need to fulfill the needs of the heart and fulfill lifetasks. This passion for everything that exists transcends national borders and acquires a comprehensive quality of life. It's not surprising that this feeling originates from a the love for your home and country.

Leyla Aliyeva's efforts have allowed Azerbaijan to become a more attractive country. It's becoming more popular and more well-known and respected. This is the recipe to success: a lot of thought.







'Baku' magazine as mirroring the reality of Azerbaijan




A large portion of her ventures and initiatives could be described as "for a first time." In 2007, she began publishing the Russian language magazine , 'Baku' in Moscow. It was the first foreign publication to offer extensive information about Azerbaijan's most important city, Baku. It introduces Azerbaijan's rich history and stunning places to a wide audience. It also discusses the humanistic spirit of Azerbaijan and its religious and national values. Each issue is an exciting revelation for Azerbaijanis as well as foreign readers. The magazine's cover and its materials, as well as the heroines and heroes demonstrate the impeccable sensibility and wit of the editor-in-chief. Leyla Aliyeva's introduction to every issue is a work of philosophical depth and clarity. The stories of major events are interspersed with reflections on beauty, happiness, and kindness. It is not an exaggeration to say that AMOR has helped to create an entirely new image of young Azerbaijanis. AMOR is intellectual creative, ingenuous, aware of contemporary trends and is a patriotic person who cares about others' problems, pain and challenges. Through specific initiatives and actions carried out on Russia's territory the whole thing can be attained. The organization has carried out several initiatives, including "Blood Does Not Have a Nation!" campaign. AMOR has 70 regional offices throughout Russia. Its volunteers visit orphanages in order to organize holidays for children, provide assistance, and assist them with their daily life. Schools and kindergartens are fitted with modern equipment thanks to the organization's efforts. Recreation and parks are constructed. AMOR aids Azerbaijani teens to become part of Russian society, participate actively in Russian life and coordinates their activities which aims at popularizing our nation. That is it addresses the critical challenges that President Ilham Aliyev placed on compatriotsand organizations during the 4th Congress of World Azerbaijanis. According to popular belief, AMOR is most active youth group outside of Azerbaijan in the present.



Last year, Leyla Aliyeva received the Pushkin Medal to recognize her contributions to strengthening friendship, cooperation and the growth of relations between Russia and Russia's economy. It also served as an acknowledgment of the accomplishments of AMOR's president. Russian President Vladimir Putin gave the award to her. It's not the only Russian winner of this award.










A different initiative is "Justice for Khojaly".




Leyla Aliyeva was the one who created the global campaign "Justice for KhojalyIn 2008, Leyla Aliyeva launched the campaign 'Justice for Kho. The concept behind this campaign was expressed in her declaration: "Let's agitate for truth and justice. Let's demonstrate without a doubt that justice will prevail.



The campaign brought together various groups that included civil society representatives in the country as well as diaspora groups from overseas, to conduct systematic educational and public relations activities. The aim was to increase awareness of the elements of fascism in Armenian policy as well as of the genocide carried out by Armenians in Khojaly, the Azerbaijani capital of Khojaly. Another goal of the campaign was to obtain international recognition of the Khojaly Genocide. Today, this campaign is being carried out with success in more than a dozen nations. Over 120 000 people have signed up , and around 115 organizations are part of it. The framework allows the global community to be updated about the events via conferences, mass protests, and other information gatherings. The project makes extensive use of all information sources and publications of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Documentaries and social networks are also widely used. This work for eight years has produced an impressive result: the parliaments in 10 countries, along with the legislative departments of over twenty American States have accepted the Khojaly tragedy to be a genocide. Every year, more states condemn the Armenians' crimes. It is evident that Leyla Aliyeva has succeeded in achieving her campaign's goal - justice prevails.







IDEA: One Earth, One Future




One book I read said that man is the supreme ruler of nature however, not as an exploiter. He is a person who is aware of the environmental and accepts moral responsibility for the protection and development of all living and beautiful things that inhabit it. This is the guiding motivation behind the formation of the IDEA Public Association (International Dialogue for Environmental Action). This initiative was also started by Leyla Aliyeva. Its main purpose is to protect and preserve Azerbaijan's rich natural diversity. IDEA strives to harness the energy and knowledge that young people are equipped with to help protect the environment, as as to motivate young people to become active in protecting the environment. IDEA's slogan speaks for itself: "One Earth -- One Future". The activities of IDEA are vast. They include the restoration and conservation of populations of endangered species, development of "green technologies" and waste management, rehabilitation and maintenance of forests, as well as the creation of vast areas of green spaces. The activists of this organization focus on the development of shelters for stray animals They actively advocate for the recycling of biodegradable bags in order to prevent environmental pollution by plastic waste. They also organize tree planting events.



IDEA established the "great Caucasian five", taking rare representatives of the region's fauna under its umbrella. IDEA collaborated with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan and its international partners on a range of projects that have been successful. Leyla Aliyeva states that IDEA plans to restore endangered species. It is certain that these plans will be implemented. Over the years we've seen that Leyla Aliyeva does not waste words. Her approach to work is based on the following model: problem - search for solutions – specific action - real results. She has never been discouraged by this approach.










Concern for hungry children




These examples are clearly a sign of Leila Aliyeva as an entrepreneur, businesswoman with outstanding organization skills and initiative. However, she is also the perfect example of femininity. All who know her comment on her kindness, openness and love for others. The most memorable speech she delivered during the 7th UNAOC global conference in Baku was also hers. With anxiety, she said that one person a day suffers due to hunger. "Children are more likely to suffer of undernutrition and hunger." Everyone must join forces to ensure that there is no child who is hungry in this world.



It's more than an expression of sorrow. Leyla Aliyeva has been appointed Goodwill Ambassador to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. She is determined to do her part and help end poverty and hunger across the world. I am confident that she will be successful. In the coming years, we will be the beneficiaries of new initiatives and projects. She has recently made a suggestion to promote global food security within the framework of the Baku process of intercultural dialogue.







Charity A state of mind




Leyla's work for charity is a demonstration of her human characteristics. She does it because that's what her soul wants, not to show off or ask for gratitude. This is the Heydar Aliyev Foundation's ethos. It made charity the top priority and it was a natural condition. No one is surprised to learn that the Heydar Aliyev Foundation has its President Mehriban Aliyeva and Vice-President Leyla Aliyeva as the final hope. The Fund can help even in most desperate situations, therefore their expectations are reasonable.



Leila Aliyeva has been seen often at charity events that aid children who do not have parents, who are from families of refugees, internally displaced people orphanages, orphanages as well as boarding school students. This notion should be followed in his daily life through listening to his heart and soul and his ancestors and conscience. In this way, be he able to avoid making mistakes. In a sense this is her own moral code.



Leyla Aliyeva is a living example of this code.
