Due to various commitments I am currently playing turbo STT. I find time to squeeze in the occasional game between my other activities and for some relaxation and'me-time'. Some people do a crossword, I play a turbo poker game! My mentality is therefore geared for quick games and quick decisions. I will play more aggressively in a shorter format game than I would in a longer one.
Sometimes poker is not very interesting. If you only play poker because it's boring, and you're having an interminable session, chances of you making wrong moves to push your hand to the limit, then you might not find it interesting.
There are three types of starting hands that are most useful: ace/ace pairs, queen-king pairs, and Jack-jack pairs. Although the ace ace pair is the most reliable, the king king pair is also a good option.
Bet on your opponents to get information. Betting is a very useful tool when used correctly. Some bet high to see if opponents will stay in. Re-raises are another way to achieve this end. "Checking" is also a good technique. If you check and your opponent places a bet, he or her may have a stronger hand than you. You might also notice your opponent checking and think that they have a bad hand.
You are still human at the end. Human beings all require regular care and maintenance in order to stay healthy. You cannot play your best poker game when you aren't feeling well.
This review will help you to see where I'm heading. This game is average. It is not great, but it is okay. It is therefore not a good buy; save your money for the great games.
