Bernhard Burgener asks for the sale of David Degen shares.

Bernhard Burgener vs David Degen is yet another step in the FC Basel owner dispute. Burgener is supported by the Board of Directors. However, no agreement has been reached.
Monday's meeting of FC Basel Holding AG's Board of Directors of FC Basel Holding AG was an overwhelming success. Burgener and Degen together with Karl Odermatt & Peter von Buren were the former owner. In the eyes of the Board of Directors, this drag-along option is deemed to be superior over Degen's prior-sale right.
Burgener and his group have now made a move in this dispute with the ownership. Degen insists that he has the right to first refusal. This he would like to exercise for 16.4million dollars. Burgener has been prevented from selling his stake of 80 percent by the ex-player through a super-provisional court order. The British asset manager Centricus will also be able to have a stake in the company. Burgener would still receive the majority of the votes.
According to the announcement by FC Basel Holding AG, Burgener and Degen are fast to seek an out-of-court settlement "in the best interests of FCB".
