Afro Klectic Review
Afro Klectic is the brainchild of Gillean Opoku, a Ghanaian born Australian. This website is all about the creative side of African Australians. The blog is a way to share African culture with a broader audience, and to educate the general public about the continent. As an African who grew up in Australia, Opoku knows firsthand the struggles of being black in Australia. This is why she started Afro Klectic.

The group includes "Sepha," a refugee from Eritrea, Ethiopia, and DC. He's lived in the U.S. for seventeen years and has become close friends with Stephanos. Other members of the group include "Ken the Kenyan" and "Joe from the Congo," who is a waiter at Colonial Grill. While he never pursued his dream of becoming a doctorate, he keeps his college books and quotes poetry from his childhood.
