Seriously, I've seen running backs who were flat out studs not be able to play because they constantly run the wrong hole, to the wrong side, or can't figure out blocking assignments. If you want your coach to notice you in a very bad way, try not knowing the plays.
This step is not for me as there are always unexpected possibilities. You might not know where a team wants you to play so you could be unable to decide if they are interested in you.
You must constantly improve your agility if your goal is to become a great football player. You can do great agility exercises by jumping rope, running through tires and jumping over cones. For each activity, create a course that you can use regularly if possible.
Use some of the online resources available. There are many websites and online services available that can help you get your high school athlete noticed.
