Gryffindor
Nama Gryffindor diambil dari salah satu pendiri Hogwarts yaitu Godric Gryffindor. Lambangnya adalah singa dan warna identitasnya emas dan merah.
Murid yang tinggal di asrama ini biasanya orang yang berani, tidak mengenal takut, bersifat ksatria, kadang agresif dan ceroboh. Tergolong element api.
Slytherin
Nama slytherin diambil dari nama pendirinya yaitu Salazar Slytherin. Lambangnya adalah ular dan warna identitasnya hijau dan perak.
Murid yang tinggal di asrama ini biasanya orang yang ambisius, cerdik, licik, punya bakat kepemimpinan, haus kekuasaan, daya akal panjang, cenderung melanggar atyra dan rata2 keturunan darah murni. Tergolong element air.
