Mike Allan (been done last month)

Ziggy call:
- Where on the sheets is the actual planned change date
- Take me through the sheets
- Where is the plan for all the non-agreed overhauls
- Where is the sheet for completed overhauls in the last month
_________
To do:
- BIP Work (End of play, Fri 30th April)
- Email people regarding PMP stuff - Ask Dave Burton about the FMEA course (SENT - WAITING FOR REPLY)
- 380 DSD Pedal Overhaul, EC pack to be written (by 21st May)
_______
BIP work (Due end of play, Friday 30th April):
- Use OneNote
- Cost sheet with all the running costs of the stations
- Powerpoint with running costs etc
___________
Annabelle requirements (Component Overhaul):
- Annabelle needs to know when the component WILL be overhauled?
- Total figure should be aligned. (e.g. 30 airdryers in next 12 months should be set)
- Monthly update ideal (16th April due (April, May, June, July, August, Sept)

Reply (Ziggy):
- The forecast (pivot table) is just the due dates (not when task is undertaken)
- Agreed overhaul programe:
--- Air Dryers: 3 every 2 weeks
--- BCUs: 4-5 every week, upping to 8-10 every week in October
--- PBCs: currently one a week, upping to 2 a week in 2022
--- Line Filters: 2 every week

Everything agreed with supplier will be more accurate
- Everything not agreed with supplier (Shoegear cables or dampers).
- In a normal timetable (non-covid), the change would be max 1 week out (either side)

____________
Commercial Placement (Details):
Annabelle Yin - SWR Commercial Manager
13th April for 6 weeks - 21st May
Part 1: NCPVs - Variation orders - additional work outside of what the customer wants to do.
Part 2: Component overhaul - Creating a new mechanism to accurately track the difference between planned programs and actually programs and the financial impact, using 1 file to understand
__________________________________________________________________
380 Baby Changing Table Risks (for EC):
- Risk of sharpness of ends on the magnetic tape (strip) which is placed on the baby changing table - Edges are a soft material, feels like soft rubber
- Table is not magnetic
- Can the baby changing table be pushed flush against the back wall?
- Risk (gap), finger trap. - Resolve by making it smaller after trial, at the top
- Risk: Magnets falling out - Magnets sealed in place with Loctite and are deep in the steel block, facing horizontally so will no fall due to gravity.
- Risk: Magnets - Magnets are low strength. Watches and jewellery aren't magnetic. Unless someone brings a knife
- Risk: Magnets EMF - Look at compatibility for EMF & look at Magnets already used on 333.

What other 450 EC's relate to the Sleep mode interoperability (particularly changes to temperature sensors and other components) - List these:
- 444/450 PLC Upgrade (Was done before sleep mode, took 10 months to sort)
- Software upgrade (HHM06009, HSM06005)
- ILI06001 "Sleep Mode - Saloon Lighting Mod Prior to Fitment of Hardware Mod (problem with mod that wasn't foreseen) (ILI05002)
- PMB06026 Sleep Mode (SWT) - (Modification Instruction, including pushbuttons, relay, wiring spare ACU fault contacts into the HVAC IHO input)

- PLC modification was carried out locally with initial assistance from KBRS

- HHM06008 "Saloon HVAC Anti Suffocation Mode Enable and Loss of PLC Application Software Fix" - Another issue

1.95 software change? - Under certain circumstances, when left in the sidings would go in and out of sleep mode continuously
Limits the switching

Still an ongoing issue with the sleep mode on the units. Inhibited the bodyside heaters, because of an ACU fault
Still an existing request outstanding SAG

Lighting inverter failures on C444/450 fleet related to HVAC (Put these in the Risks doc)
- Lighting Inverter Damaged due to the change in wiring - Mitigation: Issue investigated and the lessons learned are to be incorporated into the Class 350 fleets
- Software fix - ASDO 6.2

HSM06009 "HVAC Internal Module Wiring for Sleep Mode"
HSE06010 "HVAC internal module wiring for sleep mode - Amended Maintenance"
HSI06008 "Depot Trial of HVAC sleep mode"
ILI06001 "Sleep Mode - Saloon Lighting Mod Prior to Fitment of Hardware Mod
__________
Phone call with Ronan:
- Are we just modifying the kicker assembly, or the entire part, do the dampers break?
- How does the kicker (MBM plate) work, how does it link to the foot pedal

- MBM part changes the height

- Sending away the full pedal

- Bowden cable goes to a gas piston, number 3 on bottom right

Work out what part is getting sent away in the overhaul

- Just the kicker element or is it the ***whole*** assembly

Rods bottom right (30) have been getting loose

microswitches should be 1 0 or 0 1

Conditional assessment planned for in 5 years

Microswitches have a small deadzone

Foot pedal is from another supplier

TI open for the microswitches

Small amount of room where microswitches are
Already tried to modify it recently

Changing microswitches would involve change in contract, which could delay the mod

microswitches are in box 8 on bottom right

They will take the footplate out, and release the strut (3), The bolts we see coming loose are either side of the (30) bottom right. If we loctite them, there will be no shake, tested on depot.

The spring was coming loose (circular looking thing, on the 2 page word doc)

How does the switch mechanism work? Where does the string go and how does it attach to the DSD signal?
Would it benefit us to replace the switches? - Have we seen the switches affecting failure?
__________
Long:
- Sort my signing of emails
- Railway Group Standards - Read them (For PMP)
- Update the VMI list, putting in the related EC's
