You're welcome, like I said, I didn't expect or guarantee the game worked, but knowing that it did is good to know.

As for the broken Japanese, from my experience, most Lune games (and other games with some connection to Lune, like Marie) have this issue where the game is in broken Japanese instead of a usual Japanese format.

I do know a useful program called Textractor that can translate Japanese VNs, but I've never tried it on Lune games.

Personally, I'm fine with not being able to read most of the text, if my opinion helps.

However, there is a way - no guarantee it'll work, since I admittedly tried it once, but it didn't work for me and it made basically any game in Japanese fail when I tried to open it -you could try changing the locale of the device to Japanese.

First, you'll want to download the Japanese pack. To do that, at least on Windows 10,

1. Go to Start > Settings > Time & language > Language

2. Scroll down to Preferred Languages, and add a language.

3. Search for, or select the Japanese pack and click next. Continue through the setup, including selecting pretty much everything on this checklist to install, at least, that's what I've done. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/c23e4b8ef09b225a98367e55266b81f4263c9e6fde3d9b4a466c79dec0d0a242.png

To change the locale,

1. Go to System > Windows Systen > Control Panel > Clock and Region > Region

2. Under formats, change the format to Japanese, and click apply.

3. Under Administrative, select Change System Locale and set that to Japanese as well. Also, make sure to check, "Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support."

4. After which, a pop-up should show up, asking to restart your computer for the changes to take effect. Go ahead and restart (so long as nothing is open)

If this doesn't work, or the game doesn't open, I did find a fourm that did reference a fix similar to this.

In that post, the person said:

"If you can't get it to change with a restart now (just change it [the locale] to English [then back to Japanese] and click OK even if it doesn't ask for restart and restart [the computer] yourself) then there are 2 things you could still try:

1. System restore / system file checker tool (google it)



2. Creating xml file with notepad
(basically the image below)

and running in command prompt (admin mode) where D:locale.xml is whatever the file path to your xml file is

You could also try locale emulator, but it never worked when I tried it.

If this helped, I'm glad. If this doesn't work, it was worth a try.

Oh, and to set the locale back, just follow the control panel tutorial and change it back to English that way, then restart.
