I regret to inform you that due to the sensitivity of sales seminars and the importance of ensuring that all CMS requirements are met, I am removing you from being the lead agent at the seminars at Bills, Pizza Pub.
When I offered this position to you, I made it clear that CMS regulations state that you must be at the venue 30 minutes prior to the start of the meeting, although we require 45 minutes prior. On 10/23, I asked that you meet me at 9am so that we could prepare for the seminar, since you had not attended our Aetna required Seminar Training. You did not show up until about 10:30am. I asked how come you didn’t call me to tell me you would be late, and you said you asked your brother to call me, but he failed to do so. The second meeting started at 2:00pm and you did not show up until 2:01pm, when you should have been there at 1:15pm. You told me you were late because you were vomiting, but again, a phone call is needed to coordinate coverage.
You showed up to the seminar without a laptop or projector to do the presentation as well. This is also unacceptable. When I offered you the seminar, you did not relayed to me that you did not have the required equipment.
Yesterday, you texted me at 7:48am that you could not attend the seminar because you were sick. You stated that you had invited about 30 of your own customers to the meeting. Not one of them showed up, which puts that statistically in a very very rare situation that not a single customer would attend.
I need to ensure that I have an agent that is reliable, well trained and understands the situation it puts us in when we violate CMS regulations.
With this being said, if you would like to invite some of your existing customers to Bill’s, to allow for a more efficient method of moving them to Aetna, feel free to do so, but please provide Gary Everhart with a list of names of who you invited, so that we can ensure there will be plenty of space. I look forward to continuing to work with you individually and I think we will both be better off knowing you don’t have the obligation of being there.
