1915 yılında I. Dünya Savaşı sırasında Çanakkale Savaşları'nda hayatını kaybeden Türk askerlerin anısına yaptırıldı. Temeli 17 Nisan 1954 tarihinde atılmış ve 21 Ağustos 1960 tarihinde ziyarete açılmıştır. Çanakkale Şehitler Anıtı Türk’ün tükenmezliğinin simgesi, birlik ve beraberliğimizin kanıtıdır. Yüz binlerce şehit pahasına vatan topraklarını ebediyen koruyacağını gösteren anıtımızdır. Türkiyenin geçmişte yaşamış olduğu hem acıların hem de kahramanlıkların en önemli örneklerinden birisini içermektedir.


It was built in memory of the Turkish soldiers who lost their lives in the Çanakkale Wars in 1915 during World War I. Its foundations were laid on April 17, 1954 and it was opened to visitors on August 21, 1960. Çanakkale Martyrs Monument is the symbol of the inexhaustibility of the Turks, and the proof of our unity and solidarity. It is our monument that shows that he will protect his homeland forever at the expense of hundreds of thousands of martyrs. It contains one of the most important examples of both the suffering and heroism that Turkey has experienced in the past.

Topkapı Sarayı, İstanbul'da, Osmanlı döneminde devletin idare merkezi olarak kullanılan ve Osmanlı padişahlarının yaşadığı saraydır. Uzun süre Osmanlı İmparatorluğunun devleti idare etmek amacıyla kullandığı bu saray yerini 1853 yılında Dolmabahçe sarayına bıraktı. Topkapı Sarayıda Cumhuriyetin ilanıyla beraber tamamıyla müze olarak kullanılmaya başlandı. Günümüzde de müze olarak kullanılmaktadır.

Topkapı Palace is the palace in Istanbul, which was used as the administrative center of the state during the Ottoman period and where the Ottoman sultans lived. This palace, which was used by the Ottoman Empire for a long time to govern the state, was replaced by the Dolmabahçe Palace in 1853. With the proclamation of the Republic, Topkapı Palace started to be used as a museum. It is also used as a museum today.

Son derece zarif görünümüyle, Konak Meydanı'nı süsleyen Saat Kulesi bir sanat abidesidir. 1901 yılında Sultan Abdülhamit'in tahta çıkışının yıldönümü nedeniyle yaptırılmıştır. Saati, Alman İmparatoru 2. Wilhelm tarafından armağan edilmiştir.


Decorating Konak Square with its extremely elegant appearance, the Clock Tower is an art monument. It was built in 1901 due to the anniversary of Sultan Abdülhamit's ascension to the throne. Its clock was presented by the German Emperor Wilhelm II.
