Bu giriş etkinliğinin devamında sınıfça akıllı tahtada öğrencilerin seviyelerine uygun İngilizce bir tiyatro oyunu izlenir. İzlenilecek oyun This is a test isimli oyundur, bir grup öğrenci tarafından sahnelenmiştir.

Oyun izlenildikten sonra, öğrenme kısmına geçilir. Öğretmen, önceden hazırladığı kutuyu masasına koyar, bu kutuda tiyatro ile ilgili, detay olmayan terimler yer almaktadır. Öğrenciler bu kutudan birer kâğıt seçer ve kendilerine denk gelen kağıttaki terimi açıklamaya ve izledikleri tiyatro üzerinden örnek vermeye çalışırlar.

Bu süreçte öğrenciler internet ve ansiklopedi gibi bilgi kaynaklarından yararlanabilir. Süreç sırasında öğretmen, öğrencilerden gelen yanlış bilgilerin düzeltilmesini teşvik eder.

Öğrenme kısmı bittikten sonra daha önceden kararlaştırıldığı üzere öğrencilerin tiyatro oyunlarının sahnelendiği ve izlenildiği tarihi bir yeri görmeleri için okula yakın olan ‘Ses Tiyatrosu’na çok kısa bir gezi gerçekleştirilir. Öğretmen izin kağıtlarını toplar ve yola çıkarlar.

Burada öğretmen çok kısa bir biçimde tiyatro ve salonun tarihinden bahseder.

Öğrencilere anlatılacak tiyatro tarihi:

Theatre started in ancient Greece with rituals to the gods. Eventually, a man named Thespis became the first actor on a stage. Previously, all the people on stage were a unit called a "chorus." They would stand around an alter and make a sacrifice to the gods. Thespis was the first to step out and play a different character, becoming known as the "Father of Theatre."

Rome comes along and conquers the Greeks, adopting their style in many ways, one such way being the theatre. However, Rome strayed away from tragedies and prefered to view comedies, thus the comedy of manners genre is born. Suddenly, in the 16th century, theatre becomes a great art form. Playwrights such as Shakespeare and Marlowe become widely known.

In the 19th century, Romanticism becomes widely popular. Romantic plays were hot because showed the beautiful and adventurous side of life. From magical lands to cavaliers in the Caribbean, audiences loved the genre. Then we enter the age of realism. Most of the plays in the realism genre are written during the 20th century, Nowadays theatre is more technologically advanced and is diverse in its casting and genres that are performed. [1]

Öğrencilere anlatılacak Ses Tiyatrosu tarihi:
This stage began its life in 1885. It is part of another building at that time and is called by another name 'Cirque de Pera'. It burned down in 1904 and was rebuilt by an architect to function only as a theater stage, and its name was changed to the Ses Tiyatrosu.

Ardından öğrencilere tiyatro kurallarını içeren broşür dağıtılır ve bu kurallardan bahsedilir.
