It's been a while.

Perhaps, too long. Since the summer of 2019, we have gradually split apart, due to the confines of our consoles, devices, and our schedules. We have moved to different games, none of which are cross compatible, leaving us separated. It's been almost two years since then, and I think it's the time to change, the time where we finally come back together. Friendships rise and fall, but we are not friends, nor in a friendship. We are brothers, family. Family always sticks together, no matter what. So, I have a plan. This summer, starting June twenty second, we come together. Come together in the same way we did all those years ago. We come together, playing the best-est of games, and the best-est of activities. Of course by this, I mean sleepovers and Minecraft.

Thinking back to the success of the Summer of '19 "Mansion World", it would be safe to not start a realm. I have ruled this option out for several reasons. Reason number one would be the most obvious: It allows us to play the servers at different times, which doesn't promote us all being on at once. I can cite this from the Summer of '20 Realm: "Island Server", which led to constant progression for some, while others were behind, and did not progress at all. As well as different groups of people playing at different times, leading to not much interaction between the groups. The second reason would be cost. Previously I have said that I indeed have the funds for this, but plans have changed. With the new airsoft hobby on the horizon, my funds are solely being put into that, so I am dry on funds for Minecraft.

Considering Jake's quarantine ends this week, it would make sense to have a sleepover on the weekend of the 21st, whether it be on Friday or Saturday, it really doesn't matter. I'll see if I'm available.

Well, that's pretty much my rant. Hopefully this is the year we peak again, and the year we finally come back together. Sadly, I can't do this alone, so I only have one thing to ask. Are you with me?
