Communication plays a vital role in every organization. I worked as a Customer Service Representative in 'Flipkart' which is one of the largest e-commerce company in India. I had to communicate as my job was to solve the queries of the customers by doing outbound calls. I would like to let you know about the internal and external channels used for communicating in my organization.
Internal Channels:
1. Face to Face
2. Company's Portal: In this, I used to communicate about any issue such as attendance, resign, interviews etc.
External Channels:
1. Email: Organization provides the software to send the E-mail to the Customer.
2. Web Chat
3. Phone Call
In my daily business, I am using phone call as a means for communicating with each other because this is the best and fast means. Web Chat is the one mean of communication which I least comfortable because it is time taken and for web chat, we have to engage more. We can do nothing while chatting.
