solve A by:
Area of rectangle sheet = Length X Width = 10 X 14 = 140 in^2
Area of a circle = pi X r^2 so same area means:
140 = 3.14 X r^2
44.59 = r^2
r = 6.68
so circular pan must have a radius of 6.68 inches aka a diameter of 13.36
B. Which is more appropriate for crust loves. AKA which has larger perimeter
Circle Circumference (perimeter) = 3.14*Diameter = 41.95 in
Rectangle Perimeter = 2l+2w = 2*10+2*14 = 48 in
So Rectangular Pan is better for edge crust lovers.
