I'm in seventh grade and I'm telling you, this is a really tough and confusing year. It all really revolves around boys lmao. Eight people have asked me out this year already and its only november. Its pretty fucking long so here you go.
I ended off 6th grade and started off 7th grade liking this really funny and sweet kid named Sammy. I really fell for this kid and now I'm really confused on why I liked him before. I mean yeah, for his smile and jokes and how nice he was, but he completely stopped talking to me altogether ever since the day he found out that I was crushing on him. Maybe is was because i stopped talking to him too because i was scared and nervous. But when i got over him we began to talk but we still aren't like before.
After Sammy i felt like someone finally took the bricks out of my bag. It was a HUGE load off. But it wasn't long until i fell for another kid named Omari. Let me just start off by saying he was a year older than me and was in the eighth grade. He was also my best friend Sophie's crush. Omari and I labeled ourselves "besties" but as soon and we went home and started texting he would call be "baby" and say he missed me. I felt so comfortable with him, he was also funny. funnier than sammy. But since i tell my other best friend Samantha everything, she would constantly ask me if me and omari were gonna go out. I would reply with a shrug and I could feel my cheeks getting warm. and then one day she took my phone and started texting Omari. She said "Hey its Samantha. When are you and Melissa gonna go out already?" I freaked out. like i almost killed her when he replied "idk" . I suddenly didn't feel comfortable anymore and wanted to crawl in a hole and stay there forever. But i obviously couldn't do that. so i took matters into my own hands and texted back "Don't listen to samantha, shes crazy lmao" the reply back changed everything. he said "I would date you, but it would be way to complicated" i just got FRIENDZONED. about an hour later it clicked. I decided to end this Omari madness and move on. After all i couldn't let it go any further, it would break Sophie's heart.
After omari i got asked out by three more guys. i rejected two of them and decided to go along with the other. His name was Alec. I had very little feelings for him and my friends could tell. They soon began to call me a thot(hoe) because of all the hoes i had. Meaning i had a bunch of boys going after me. Me and Alec kissed twice. Once during a game of truth or dare and the other on Halloween night. On halloween it came unexpected and I realized he just used me to hook up. He didn't really like me. He disappeared with his friends after he kissed me. Without saying goodbye.
The last and current boy i am dating right now is Jahdiel. He is also an eighth grader. Oh. My. God. I fall head over heels when he comes from behind me and wrapps his arm around me. And the way he hugs me in front of all his friends and all the teachers and literally everyone in the hallway. There's ALOT of people in the hallway by the way. And the way he reaches for my hand and doesn't let go until we get too far apart and can't hold hands anymore. We haven't kissed yet, but I'm okay with that. I wanna save it for a special moment. And his smell lmaooo. it calms me down and makes me fell safe. Samantha disapproves of our relationship because she absolutely hates him. Sophie's on board with it. And a lot of other people are kind of questioning it. They say that he's a player and that he's thirsty or whatever. But i never see that when i'm with him. He's just so sweet and funny. Did i also mention that Omari found out today and started making fun of me. Since Jahdiel's head is apparently shaped like a peanut he said "Melissa want Jahdiel's peanut" and then his friend said "oohh, you wanna crack that?" Omari is probably jealous. I dont care a this point even though i still kind of like him.
The dance is this friday. In two days and i asked Jahdiel to come. Most dances usually result in a grind line and you are technically considered a pussy if you don't grind. I'm gonna grinding with Jahdiel and I'm planning to kiss him there too. We've been dating for two weeks, I have to make a move. I'm terrified though. We'll just have to see how it goes.
