YouTube’dan yapılan açıklamada, YouTube, platformdaki tüm içerikten para kazanma hakkına sahiptir ve reklamlar, YouTube İş Ortağı Programının parçası olmayan kanalların videolarında gösterilebilir denildi.
Sosyal medya içerik üreticileri, bu kararın abone kazanmaya çalışan içerik üreticilerinin büyümesini limitleyeceği konusunda endişe duyduklarını belirtti. YouTube’un söz konusu yeni hizmet kararının 1 Haziran 2021’de yürürlüğe gireceği açıklandı.
