why did you make these things? How is this supposed to help the economy??

*Danny shoves her*
E: hey!
D: did you like that?
E: what?

D: then why do you think its ok to do things like that to others?
E: I don't care, it's not my problem.
D: Well, what do you care about?
E: ...
D: what about your sisters? Suppose one of them got hurt? Would you be fine with that?
E: ...no.
D: How would you feel?
E: I'd feel... unhappy.
D: Is that really a feeling you want to inflict upon others?
E: ...I don't see why that's my problem.
D: Would you want to make one of your sisters unhappy?
E: ...well, no. Not really.
D: then why do you think it's ok to do it to other people?
E: Because they don't matter.
D: Why? Why don't they matter? What's so different between you and them, that makes you (so) more special?
E: Easy, I'm more powerful, I'm stronger, I'm more important. They're weak, senseless, brainless sheep. If they didn't want to get hurt, they shouldn't have even gotten in my way.
D: What does strength or intelligence matter?
E: it matters a lot
D: What difference does it make? You think that just because you see these people as less important, that it makes it ok just to beat them up? Because they mildly annoyed you or got in your way? You think that you are better than them, and because of that you're more special, but you know what? They're special too, they have their own lives like you, and their own interests just like you. They want to live and be happy. (They want to thrive and pursue their dreams, and) just like you, they think they're special.
E: How do you know that?
D: Because Emily, maybe if you didn't get so wrapped up in your own twisted mind, you'd actually look around and start to observe people (and see who they really are). They may not be the strongest, or the smartest, but they have feelings, they have love, they have kindness, they have meaning, they have empathy, they have so many things, that you never even stop to think about because you are selfish and mean. You are cruel and you like to spread that cruelty to other people you think less worthy. And I'm telling you, that if you keep spreading cruelty, the only thing you're going to get back is cruelty. You get what you give, (and you don't give what you get). ((literally like the golden rule, treat others the way you want to be treated, you get what you give, morality at its finest, Danny is basically teaching Emily how to empathize with others despite their differences, Emily is probably stunned by this but this gives her a lot to think about regarding how different she actually is from people and that maybe she is not higher or better than them.
