NAME: Samar “Sam” Rashid

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE: 5'8, slender build, black hair, brown eyes, almond tone skin.
ETHNIC BACKGROUND: British Pakistani; his father immigrated to Britain from Pakistan, as did his mother’s parents.
RELIGION: Raised Muslim but isn’t particularly religious anymore. Borderline agnostic/atheistic (he does believe in spirits, however), celebrating Islamic holidays with his father more out of family tradition than religious obligation.
FAMILY: Dinesh Rashid (father, alive), Aisha Keegan (mother, alive); Nick Keegan (stepfather, alive), Philip Keegan (older stepbrother, alive).
SEXUAL ORIENTATION / MARITAL STATUS: Straight / In a relationship with the lovely MJ Holland.
OCCUPATION: Private detective, self-employed and sole proprietor of his firm. He takes all case types, but because of his background specializes in missing persons cases.
HOBBIES & INTERESTS: writing poetry and rap lyrics (and he can rap, usually doing so in the privacy of his own home, car, or office for the time being), urban exploration, street magic (can do some sleight of hand tricks), true crime, horror, music (hip hop and punk in particular), people watching.
VICES & BAD HABITS: Cigarettes, drinks regularly (more excessively during periods where his anxiety/PTSD has been triggered), abuses OTC energy supplements and drinks on long shifts. No hard drugs, only uses weed to sleep and occasionally to relax (he prefers alcohol for the latter).
MENTAL & PHYSICAL HEALTH: Physically he is fit and healthy save for the drinking, the energy drink abuse, and insomnia (worsened by his sometimes strange work hours). Mentally, he suffers from depression and anxiety, PTSD from his years living with his mother and stepfather (this manifests most frequently as nightmares).
