It was my third time going over to Juleka and Luka's house.

A few weeks ago Marinette approached me, I had brought my guitar to school since I wanted to practice after school at a friend's house. I guess less of a friend and more of a colleague, we didn't get along great but they knew I didn't like practicing at my house. We were in a band together, and our band was pretty big.

I was the lead singer in the band we called ourselves "Beefsteak." The good thing about being in a popular band was that I was able to support my single mother and I, she hasn't had to work for the past few years which was nice since she's rather sickly. But besides that, our band went on a hiatus because we had a big fight about our anonymity.

We've always made our identities anonymous by wearing masks on stage and in interviews. Two of the members wanted to stop wearing the masks because they wanted to get "the popularity they deserved", and the rest of us didn't want to reveal our identities. And that's how we had our falling out. We have lost some popularity from being on hiatus for so long but people still talk about us and our songs are sometimes played on alternative radio stations.

I hadn't told anyone about me being in a band since moving to Paris-- I didnt plan to-- but I still played my instrument. Music has always been a passion of mine. I play the electric guitar and bass. Though I only played electric guitar for the band.

Anyways, im getting off topic. Point is, Marinette noticed my guitar and invited me to go with her to see "Kitty Section" practice. Theyre pretty popular within Paris.

I thought the name was interesting so I accepted. I had already noticed that some of the band members were in the class but never bothered to approach them since they probably got people doing that, but apparently not as much.

The first time I went I was very surprised by how lowkey everything was.

I'm walking to the Couffaine's house now. Theyre all very nice people, Juleka especially. She's pretty quiet but I enjoy the conversations we have had. Marinette is also nice-- admittedly a bit annoying at times-- but its somewhat understandable.

Everyone else was also nice. Luka caught my eye honestly, he was very nice, but very obviously head over heels for Marinette, and sometimes a bit cringeworthy.
